This weekend, Aspen Maine Coons will be traveling to Cat Fest in Colorado Springs with one very special young man... Gandolf!

After a wonderful experience at our recent TICA cat show, we're excited to continue learning, meeting fellow cat lovers, and sharing our passion for the incredible Maine Coon breed.

Why We Attend Cat Shows

People often ask why breeders spend their weekends at cat shows. The answer is simple.

Every show is an opportunity to learn.

We receive feedback from experienced judges, meet ethical breeders from around the country, and continue expanding our knowledge of the Maine Coon breed. Every conversation helps make Aspen Maine Coons a stronger breeding program.

Gandolf Is Ready for Another Adventure

Our handsome Gandolf will once again be representing Aspen Maine Coons.

If you followed our Aurora show adventure, you know he impressed us with something that can't be measured by ribbons. His confidence. From the moment he entered the judging rings, Gandolf remained calm, curious, and playful. He happily interacted with the judges and handled the excitement of the show like a seasoned professional.

As a breeder, seeing that wonderful temperament is every bit as rewarding as receiving recognition in the ring.

One of my favorite parts of attending cat shows is meeting people. Whether you're a longtime Maine Coon owner, thinking about adding one to your family, or simply curious about the breed, I love answering questions and sharing what I've learned along the way.
